University of Helsinki boosts management of security breaches

KARLSKRONA, Sweden - January 28, 2009 - The University of Helsinki, Department of Computer Science is determined to prevent hacking and other network security risks even more efficiently. The number one IT research and teaching institute in Finland has now started to use Outpost24 solutions for their network security breach assessment and management. The Department of Computer Science has purchased the HIAB® appliance to be used first hand for their own vulnerability detection and remediation management. At a later stage, the Department is considering the possibility of using Outpost24 tools for educational purposes.
