Outpost24 virtualises vulnerability management with launch of VMware HIAB
New product complements existing HIAB hardware, allows companies to reinforce protection rapidly and at lower cost
Karlskrona, 26 January – Outpost24, a leader in vulnerability management solutions, today announced the launch of VMware HIAB, a new virtualised version of the original appliance based HIAB. Designed to assess vulnerabilities commonly found on devices within the network, VMware HIAB provides the same high level of security protection found in the original appliance, without the need to deploy any hardware.
With high profile online attacks repeatedly hitting the headlines and with recent years seeing the largest number of vulnerability disclosures in history (8,562 in 2010 ), it has become more apparent that companies must ensure that they are properly protected from hackers.
