Not compliant?

Face bad publicity, lawsuits and direct financial loss.

During recent years, severe security breaches where credit card information has been compromised has attracted a lot of attention in the media.  The affected e-commerce sites, conventional retailers, payment service providers, banks and credit card companies have faced bad publicity, lawsuits and direct financial loss.

As a countermeasure against these criminal acts the payment card industry founded the PCI Security Standards Council.  The Council has adopted the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) which is a comprehensive security standard related to the handling of credit card data.  The PCI DSS outlines security requirements for all businesses that store, process or simply transmit credit card data.

We are certified as an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) by the PCI Security Standards Council.  This certification allows us to help merchants and service providers to verify and prove that they handle credit card data in compliance with the current version of the security standard.

How to become PCI Compliant

Deploying OUTSCAN PCI enables organizations to achieve and demonstrate PCI compliance. Delivered as an on-demand cloud service, OUTSCAN PCI automatically scans the perimeter enabling organizations to easily detect vulnerabilities and manage remediation to protect the integrity of cardholder data.

Easy to use, OUTSCAN PCI provides 24x7 support and easy-interpreted reports that show whether the company is PCI compliant.

Businesses can use these findings to mitigate any vulnerabilities that failed the PCI DSS and run as many scans as needed until they pass. The 'pass' report provided by OUTSCAN PCI is used as proof to verify compliance to auditors.

To satisfy all the scanning requirements within the PCI DSS, OUTSCAN PCI can also be used in combination with the Outpost24 HIAB for internal scanning and Outpost24 WAS for web application scanning.
